Rain shows how much rain falls in the hour, in millimetres.

How to read it

The scale runs from blue to red with no green in the middle, because no amount of rain is fine for soaring. Rain also ends the thermals: wet ground takes time to dry and warm up again, so the hours after a shower stay weak too.

The point forecast also shows the chance of rain for each hour.
