Temperature shows the air temperature near the ground and at several heights, in °C.

How to read it

Choose the height in the layer’s controls. The colours run from cold to warm in steps, like every weather map. Comparing heights tells you how quickly the air cools as you climb, which is what decides how far the thermals can rise.
