Accounts and what they add

You do not need an account to see the forecast. Without one you see the next few days, on every layer, with the default units and the default glider.

A free account adds:

• The whole forecast. Every day instead of the first few.
• Your glider. Choose your glider and its wing loading, and PFD, XC speed and thermal strength are worked out for it. See Choosing a glider.
• Your units. Height in metres or feet, climb in m/s, ft/min or ft/s, wind in knots, km/h, m/s or Beaufort, and more.
• Favourite airfields. Marked on the map wherever you look.
• Your language and start layer. The app opens in your language and on the layer you choose, or the one you looked at last.

Your settings follow you to every device you sign in on.

Signing in

Sign in with an email address and a password, or with a Microsoft account. You can change your details, your password and your language on your account page, and delete your account there too. Deleting it removes your settings as well.
